Listen to conversations between Mary Consolata Namagambe and SMK´s curators about the SMK collections, Denmark’s colonial past and colonialism in a wider perspective.

Mary Consolata is a lawyer and an active contributor to the public debate on the conditions faced by African Danes and other minority groups in Danish society.

The audio guide focuses on the first room of the exhibition, which shows works from approximately 1650 to 1950. The works have been selected and presented by SMK curators Henrik Holm, Hanne Kolind Poulsen, Eva de la Fuente Pedersen and Dorthe Aagesen.
